Installing and Updating Avaya IX Workplace
Installation and Setup
NOTE: Before attempting to install and setup IX Workplace, an official IX Workplace service request must be submitted to the Telecommunications department.
Once a request has been received and the softphone service has been created, to install the Avaya IX Workplace Soft Phone App on your current computer, a new computer, or a mobile device, please follow these instructions:

Updating to Newest IX Workplace Version
To make sure that you are running the latest softphone app version, compare the most recent app version listed below to the version you have currently on your device. To check the version you are currently using, open IX Workplace on your device, click the gear symbol at the top of the app, go to Support and then click About. To install, reinstall, or update IX Workplace, click the appropriate Windows or Mac download link below and accept the default setting throughout the install. Mobile devices are usually set to automatically update applications.
