Phone Feature Instructions

Transfer a Call

• Depress phone hook
• Listen for 3 sort beeps then solid tone
• Dial third party (If the third party cannot be reached, depress the phone hook to be reconnected to your original party)
• When party answers, announce the call, then hang up

Three Way Conversation

• Add a third party:

1. Depress phone hook
2. Listen for 3 sort beeps then solid tone
3. Dial third party (If the third party cannot be reached, depress the phone hook to be reconnected to your original party)
4. After third party answers, depress phone hook
5. Begin talking immediately

• To drop a party:

1. Any party hangs up the remaining 2 parties remain

Call Forwarding All Calls

• To activate:

1. Pick up your handset for a dial tone
2. Dial [*02]
3. Dial extension to forward calls to
4. Hang up immediately

• To deactivate:

1. Pick up your handset for a dial tone
2. Dial [#02]
3. Hang up

Call Forwarding When You Are Currently On a Call

• To activate:

1. Pick up your handset for a dial tone
2. Dial [*03]
3. You will hear a tone
4. Dial extension to forward calls to
5. Hang up immediately

• To deactivate:

1. Pick up your handset for a dial tone
2. Dial [#02]
3. Hang up

Voice Mail On/Off

• To activate:

1. Pick up your handset for a dial tone
2. Dial [*06]
3. Hang up immediately

• To deactivate:

1. Pick up your handset for a dial tone
2. Dial [#06]
3. Hang up

Automatic Call Back

• During the initial call attempt, when you receive a busy signal, quickly depress and release the phone hook.
• Dial [*05]
• Hang up at the tone
• You will hear 3 short rings when the automatic call back is being initiated
• Pick up your handset and you will hear ringing
• Wait for the other person to answer

Call Pick-up

• Pick up from idle phone:

1. Pick up your handset for a dial tone
2. Dial [*07]
3. Begin talking immediately

• To place a current call on hold and pick up:

1. Depress phone hook
2. Listen for 3 sort beeps then solid tone
3. Dial [*09]
4. At the tone dial [*07]
5. Begin talking immediately
6. Your present call is put on hold and the incoming call is put through to your line

• Alternate between held calls:

  (Your present call is put on hold and the previously held call is returned to your line)
1. Depress phone hook
2. Listen for 3 sort beeps then solid tone
3. Dial [*09]
4. Begin talking immediately

• Return to held call:

  (The other party is disconnected)
1. Hang up
2. You will hear a ring
3. Answer and resume conversation

Phone Number Verification

• To verify an extension phone number:

1. Dial 8888 and the recording will say the last 4 digits of the phone number
